WDCR: Recipient of the Jumbo Region of the Year Award!
/Region of the Year Award: The Region of the Year Award gauges the Region’s leadership team’s performance related to SCCA’s Goals and Business Strategies, which include (1) positive Member Experience through improving the effectiveness and efficiency of Region communication, increasing member value and opportunities, and activating program board plans, and (2) membership growth and activation through developing and rolling out aggressive and enthusiast recruitment campaigns, improving new member communications, and enhancing the Region’s focus on renewal. These REs also participated regularly in scheduled Region Zoom Meetings to listen and share and support each other.
“Washington DC Region delivered Top-5 membership growth & retention while running the most Programs and hosting the most Events in their category. The RE was a regular contributor in the Jumbo Region RE meetings, provided stellar communication with the National Office, and was active in local community programs. They were a Tom Burke Award recipient in 2021, and they’re celebrating their 75th birthday as a Region this year – so here’s something else they can toast to.”
