LEVEL 1

This school is designed to "get your feet wet" with information and time behind the wheel. As a new autocrosser, you'll learn how to prepare for the event including doing a tech inspection on your car, work the different positions of the event, walk the course and drive the course. One of our seasoned National level instructors will ride with you and help you navigate the course with great precision and get you started on your car control needs. With some of the largest events in the country, we have great courses and lots of friendly competition, this is your opportunity to see what it's like to be part of the SCCA Autocross community. 

LEVEL 2

After having experienced a Level 1 school or having some experience with Autocross, the Level 2 is the next step in becoming a faster driver with much better control. Once introductions and car technical inspection is completed, we jump right into the driving for the day. With two different drills to improve your car control and course element technique, you'll notice quick improvements throughout the day. Once the two drills are finished, we apply what you learned onto a full course where you'll get a bunch of runs to see how it all applies to making you faster.

TEST AND TUNE

There are 14 thirty minute sessions, you pick which FOUR (4) you'd like to work...and drive the other 10!

Note: This event is NOT a School. It is designed and run in a manner that requires all participants to be experienced at working the course and knowing what to do as a driver. We offer the Level 1 and Level 2 Schools to help new drivers learn skills to participate and become faster drivers. The Test and Tune is setup to help experienced drivers Test and Tune their cars. The day runs from 7am - 4pm. 

In the past, that has meant as many as 40 runs on a full course, which will be reversed for the afternoon to make it two different courses.

*Instruction Available:* There have been a few requests for a Level 3 School. We feel that if you'd like drills, repeating the Level 2 School will be your best opportunity as instruction is always tailored to your skill. For one on one instruction on a full course, we're offering instructors for the Test and Tune.

You can choose a Test and Tune slot with an instructor for an extra fee. Each instructor may have up to 4 students.

All schools take place at Summit Point Motorsports Park, Potomac Pad, Summit Point, WV with a general time frame of 7:30am - 4:30pm
