Missing Man Formation for Anne Callihan

The Small Bore Race (Race Group #4) on Sunday June 17th 2018 will feature a “Missing Man” formation in

honor of Anne Callihan, who passed away last November. Anne was a vital part of the MARRS

Series and the Washington, DC Region Road Racing Program. She was the consummate

volunteer, spending time working as a Pit Marshal and Flagger, as well as in Timing & Scoring,

Registration, and Race Administration. Anne served as Director of Club Racing, and at the time

of her passing was a member of the Washington DC Region Board of Directors. Anne had a

passion for helping others, and that was reflected in her involvement in the annual Charity Fund

Raising events held in conjunction with the Labor Day MARRS. A two-time recipient of the Dave

Roethel Member Achievement Award, Anne also received the 2015 “Most Valuable Player”

Award for Club Racing.

Members of Anne’s family will be riding in the Pace Cars on the Missing Man parade lap. Please
