Radial Tire will be sponsoring Club Racing's Labor Day event for 2008! 

Recently Phil Dame resigned from the Region’s Board of Directors for personal reasons.  According to the Bylaws, this vacancy would be filled by the remaining Board members appointing an eligible member.  Three individuals were recommended to fill the vacancy; Mike Collins, Craig Garfield and Lin Toland.  At the June 12 meeting, each individual gave a presentation to the Board which included their reasons for why they wanted the position.  After a lengthy discussion there was a vote and Craig Garfield was chosen to fill the remaining term which will end on November 30, 2009.

On July 12-13, 2008, the Washington DC Region, SCCA will host another "Marlboro Reunion.

The WDCR is seeking a Region member to solicit sponsorship for our events. This is a great opportunity to connect with local and regional automotive/racing related retailers. Region provides the framework for sponsorship levels in each venue. Sponsorship Promoter receives 10% of all new sponsorship revenues collected.
