Okay, this car needs some work. Great for someone looking to swap a manual tranny into it and make it a track rat, or for someone looking for an M3 in decent shape for < $10k after repairs. Details (followed by known issues): ========================== -98 M3/4, no mods -Silver w/Black interior -Auto trans -175,424 miles -Power seats, windows -Sunroof -6CD changer in trunk -Interior in good condition except as noted below -Exterior in good condition except as noted below -New guibo @160k -Front calipers rebuilt 5k miles ago -Factory serviced until 160k -1 set factory staggered wheels w/ Michelin Pilot Sports -1 set SSR Integrals with Michelin snow tires Pictures (ignore the Integra pictures; its been sold) The bad: ======= -The transmission is throwing codes and likely needs to be replaced. (quoted $3k for rebuilt tranny installed locally) -The driver's seat does not recline (broken gear issue, $40 fix) -The driver's window needs a regulator ($80 for the part shipped) -A couple scratches that I was not able to get with the camera; barely visible -One good ding on the rear with some surface rust developing (see picture) -I believe that the Pilot Sports in the rear are well worn, but I haven't looked at them in a while; the winter tires are currently on the car. -Roof liner is sagging. The extras: ========= (*IF* the price is right, otherwise I'll see it all separately) -New spare tailight -New spare foglight -BMW Reset Tool/Code reader -Bentley Manual -White manual Vaders with BMW seat covers (leather is well worn) -BMW car cover and bag This car would make a great daily driver with about a $4k investment on top of the purchase price. Asking $5k for everything or $4k with the stock wheels and no extras. Reasonable offers welcome.
